Job Description
Lyon College invites applications for a full-time twelve-month position as assistant coach of its womens fast pitch varsity softball program beginning immediately. The primary responsibilities of the assistant coach include recruiting coaching JV team coaching
pitchers monitoring athletes academic progress assisting in practice and game preparation performing equipment care and inventory. The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of and ability to comply with the NCAA D3 conference and institution rules
and regulations. A bachelors degree is required. Additional responsibilities include teaching a limited number of physical education courses and other duties as assigned. Individuals must be self-motivated organized detail-oriented and able to work as a
member of a team. Position requires extensive weekend and evening assignments. Travel required
