Job Description
R C Lacy is seeking a skilled and dependable Experienced Service Technician to join our growing service team. This is a great opportunity for an A or B-level technician looking for a stable well-equipped shop with a strong customer base and steady workflow. Youll be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with a focus on quality efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Automotive Service TechnicianKey Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair various automotive systems including engine transmission electrical brakes suspensionHVAC and more
- Perform thorough inspections and identify potential issues or safety concerns
- Accurately document work performed and parts used in dealership systems
- Communicate clearly with service advisors about findings estimates and repair timelines
- Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge through Ford certification programs and technical bulletins
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean professional work area
- Support less experienced technicians and foster a collaborative team environment
Automotive Service Technician Qualifications
- Experience: 2 years of experience in automotive diagnostics and repair
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certifications:ASE certifications and/or Ford factory training preferred
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of diagnostic tools service software and repair procedures
- Work Ethic: Dependable detail-oriented and committed to quality workmanship
- Communication: Able to communicate clearly with both teammates and customers
- Team Player: Willing to collaborate and assist with shop-wide goals
- License: Valid drivers license with clean driving record
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
