Responsibilities:
- Provide expert evaluation and management of pediatric urgent care cases.
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses infections and minor injuries.
- Perform minor procedures such as laceration repair abscess drainage splinting etc.
- Order and interpret basic labs and imaging when needed.
- Educate families on aftercare and next steps.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure optimal patient experience.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Pediatrics.
- Active Virginia medical license (or eligibility).
- Pediatric urgent care or outpatient experience preferred.
- Comfortable with procedures commonly performed in urgent care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
