Job Description

The Operator 1 is responsible for;
- Loading Unloading Cutting Stamping Packaging Reclaim and Impregnations and Clean-Up within the department
- Must have one or more of the following abilities: washcoat batching PM batching washcoat application laboratory training advance functional check training or shipping and receiving
- Training of fellow workers as assigned
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
In addition management system responsibilities and authorities include:
Safety Management System requirements;
- Obeying all safety policies and procedures
- Accepting any disciplinary actions from violating safety polices and procedures
Quality Management System requirements;
- Controlling production paperwork or data
- Participation in internal audit interviews
Environmental System requirements;
- Ensuring environmental policies and procedures are followed
- Ensuring wastes are handled properly
Basic Skills and Competencies:
The Operator 1 must possess;
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts practices and procedures used within a manufacturing environment
- Be able to record process weights both on paper forms and in user-friendly computer terminal
- Communicate effectively with customers the president other employees and service providers (company employees and contracted suppliers) and other external concerns
- Have intimate knowledge and understanding of the companys policies and procedures
