Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Concrete Sales & Project Coordinator. This position is specifically for our ready-mix concrete this role you will be responsible for generating and managing leads for ready mix concrete projects that align with Sorrento Lumber and Concretes services. Working closely with our internal takeoff specialists you will assist in finalizing and sending price quotes to potential customers for ready-mix concrete projects. Once a project is secured by our sales team you will collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless execution and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally you may be tasked with obtaining pricing and procuring materials specifically for ready mix concrete projects to support project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue leads for ready mix concrete projects that match Sorrento Lumber and Concretes expertise and offerings.
- Collaborate with internal takeoff specialists to prepare accurate and competitive price quotes for customers specifically for ready mix concrete projects.
- Consult with customers to address inquiries provide information and follow up on quotes related to ready mixed concrete.
- Coordinate with different departments within Sorrento Lumber and Concrete to ensure project details materials and pricing for ready mix concrete projects are accurate and aligned.
- Obtain pricing and procure materials as necessary specifically for ready mix concrete projects to support project requirements.
- Assist in maintaining customer relationships and providing exceptional service throughout the sales process for ready mixed concrete projects.
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook Teams and Excel to communicate internally and externally manage tasks and track project progress for ready mixed concrete projects.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of ready-mix concrete products and their applications.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the public.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
