Job Description

TAP Resource Teacher

Salary: $34320

Shift: Part-Teacher

The Achievement Centers for Children is a Cleveland Ohio-based non-profit organization that is nationally recognized for its excellence in helping children with disabilities and their families achieve and thrive. Employment with us is rewarding personally and professionally.

Our team is currently seeking a Resource Teacher for our Technical Assistance (TAP) Program

This position will provide on-site training and consultation that supports the inclusion of children with special needs (birth through 12 years of age) in community childcare programs.

Major responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site training consultation and support to inclusive child care programs in *Cuyahoga County.
  • Collaborate with parents and service providers to set goals for children in child care and early education settings and to be a resource for needed services.

*The service area for this position will be the eastern parts of Cuyahoga County.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Three (3) years of experience working with children with disabilities in child care settings
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population of adults
  • Ability to work independently
  • Valid drivers license reliable transportation auto insurance as well as an acceptable driving record.
