Job Description
We are looking for an onsite Embedded System Security Engineer Linux/C (m/f/d) for our automation & digitalization team at our location in Berlin Reinickendorf.
Responsibilities / Tasks
Secure Development:Implement and maintain secure coding standards and best practices using C# and C
Linux Engineering:Develop and maintain software in Linux-based environments
Security Assessment:Conduct vulnerability testing and security evaluations on automation systems and software products
Design Integration:Collaborate with development teams to embed security into product architecture and design
Team Enablement:Provide training and guidance on secure coding and cybersecurity protocols
Incident Response:Monitor and respond to security incidents related to software and automation systems
Compliance:Work with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to security standards
Research:Stay current with emerging security trends technologies and threats
Cross-functional Support:Assist product management sales and service teams with product security information
Your Profile / Qualifications
Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field
Experience:Minimum of 3 years in security engineering or secure software development
Programming Skills:Strong proficiency in C# and C
Linux Knowledge:Solid experience working in Linux environments
Security Expertise:Proven skills in security assessment (IEC62443) vulnerability testing and risk management
Certifications:CISSP CEH or equivalent certifications are highly preferred
Domain Knowledge:Familiarity with automation systems and industrial software is a plus
Problem Solving:Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities
Communication:Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Languages:Fluent in English (C1/C2) and German (B2)
