This Position reports to:
Global Sales ManagerYour role and responsibilities:
In this role you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of Electrification Smart Buildings products within the Columbia SC and surrounding areas in line with the division strategy. Each day you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth revenues profitability market share and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
While this is a remote position successful candidates will be based in the Columbia SC trade area.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
Identifying and tracking upcoming sales opportunities and influence customer specifications to favor ABB and to increase market share in the commercial industrial and governmental market segments.
Educate customer base about differentiating products with technical presentations. Introduce new products to existing customer base and identify target customers.
Collaborate with Product Managers by identifying product gaps providing input on new product introductions and sharing customer feedback.
Generate cross selling leads and make it easier to do business with ABB Industrial Solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or related is required with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in large commercial construction and industrial projects preferably in the electrical products industry.
- Experience working with electrical contractors and channel partners is required.
- In depth knowledge of the regions electrical industry and ABB products is desired.
- Must have ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools; experience preferred.
- Ability to apply Six Sigma to improve customer satisfaction and Six Sigma or equivalent quality training is a plus.
- Understanding and experience with full portfolio of products and services (including power distribution one line and installation products) is preferred.
