We have one unique Chemist 1(Analytical Chemist) position in our new Wilsonville lab. Read on below to learn more about each opportunity.
What youll be doing
You will perform analyses of foods fertilizers and agricultural products to meet clients needs.
Extract or digest samples to prepare them for specific analysis.
Identify and quantitate unique targets and process/reduce data.
Utilize gas and liquid chromatographs with various detectors.
Work in multiple program areas.
Perform work to meet identified quality parameters.
Maintain records and enter data in spreadsheets and databases

What were looking for:
A bachelors degree in chemistry.
Three additional years of pertinent experience performing chemical testing and procedures may substitute for the bachelors degree.
Requested Skills:
Beyond the minimum qualifications listed above were also looking for the following knowledge skills and abilities in applicants. You do not need to have all qualities listed below to qualify. Please ensure the skills you do have are listed in your application.
Ability to adapt to changing workloads and analytical procedures as dictated by staffing and sample prioritization.
Assists in achieving and maintaining ISO17025 laboratory accreditation through active participation in SOP writing/reviewing/updating and successful participation in performance sample programs audits and training.
Ability to look for opportunities for process improvement.
Experience performing chemical testing and procedures for various sample types and various tests.
