Responsibilities:
- Lead the design configuration and implementation of Emerson DeltaV control systems for capital projects.
- Develop batch sequencing phase logic and recipe structures using ISA-88 standards to ensure optimized production and compliance.
- Create high-performance operator interfaces using DeltaV Live and DeltaV Operate aligned with ISA-101 HMI design principles.
- Design scalable class-based DeltaV architectures to support multi-line or multi-site deployments.
- Manage project schedules budgets resources and client relationships to deliver successful outcomes on time and on budget.
- Specify and integrate electrical and control hardware including MCCs VFDs control panels and power distribution.
- Architect industrial networks using Ethernet/IP Modbus TCP/IP Profibus Foundation Fieldbus and OPC UA.
- Oversee server infrastructure planning including virtualization redundancy and cybersecurity.
- Support commissioning FAT/SAT testing validation documentation and regulatory compliance (GAMP5 cGMP 21 CFR Part 11).
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of automation standards and templates.
- Travel up to 25% for site visits commissioning and client collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Control Systems Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8-15 years of hands-on experience with DeltaV in regulated life sciences environments.
- Deep knowledge of DeltaV Live ISA-101 HMI design and ISA-88 batch control.
- Proven experience leading full lifecycle automation projects.
- Expert in industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP Modbus TCP/IP Foundation Fieldbus OPC UA).
- Strong knowledge of cGMP GAMP5 and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
- Solid understanding of industrial networking and server architecture (virtualization cybersecurity redundancy).
- Strong communication team leadership and client engagement skills.
