Youll report directly to Mike Walters and Mike Calnen two industry veterans with over 40 years of combined experience 14 of those right here at Steele Chevrolet! Their mentorship and leadership have built one of the regions most efficient customer-focused service departments and now theyre looking for someone ready to grow into leadership with their support.

Compensation:

Wage will be commensurate with knowledge skills and experience. Plus youll have access to training mentorship and real opportunities to move forward in your career.

What Youll Do:

As an Assistant Service Manager youll be hands-on in daily service operations. Working closely with our service team to ensuring smooth workflows and delivering the top-tier service our customers expect. Youll gain experience in every area of the service department from managing workflow to coaching team members all while being set up for success in future leadership roles. Your role will include:

• Supporting day-to-day service operations alongside the Service Manager.
• Mentoring and motivating a team of technicians and service staff.
• Driving quality control and ensuring repairs are done right the first time.
• Assisting with technician dispatching and repair order workflow.
• Tracking performance and ensuring warranty compliance.
• Maintaining a clean customer-first service drive-in experience.
• Learning from experienced leaders and preparing for long-term growth.

What You Bring to the Table:

Were looking for someone who is ready to grow. Someone with technical confidence a team-first mindset and the motivation to take on more as they learn! Youll need:

• A strong grasp of service operations and manufacturer warranty procedures.
• Solid leadership potential and a passion for developing people.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience as a licensed automotive technician is an asset.
• A valid drivers license and clean abstract.
