Position Summary
Thales is seeking an upper-year student to work as an Intern Trainer (Cybersecurity) for a four to six months term to contribute with research and development in our OT lab environment; and support with Cyber Security training delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity for a student with a strong foundation in OT environment and cyber security to gain hands-on experience using our lab and cyber range environment.

Key Areas of Responsibility
- Assist in research and development activities within the OT lab environment.
- Support the delivery of cyber security training sessions.
- Utilize the cyber range environment to test and validate security measures.
- Collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions in OT and Cyber Security.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Upper-year student currently enrolled in a relevant program (e.g. Computer Science Engineering Cyber Security).
- Strong understanding of Operational Technology and Cyber Security concepts.
- Understanding of OT protocols and their vulnerabilities.
- Experience with network security system hardening vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

The reference Total Target Compensation(TTC) market range for this position inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target is between
Total Target Cash (TTC): 58296.92 - 78041.67 - 96633.96 CAD AnnualThis reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. This range helps the Company make pay decisions as one data point among many. Where a position falls within this range is also dependent on other factors including but not limited to the employees career path history competencies skills and performance as well as the companys annual salary budget the customers program requirements and the companys internal equity. Thales may offer additional benefits and other compensation depending on circumstances not related to an applicants status protected by local state or federal law.
