Logistics & Technical Services (LTS) and Field & Lifecycle Services (FLS) provide world-class Technical Engineering and Logistics Services to our customers. Delivering efficiency and a high level of quality.
Both workshops support the Swap and Configuration areas of the business offering a complex build and repair service for all major manufacturers and customers. As a digital support technician apprentice will be working with a team of approximately 20-30 engineers supporting our external customers. These include government departments financial institutions pharmaceutical companies and many others spread across the UK and Europe. We also work with various major manufacturers such as Lenovo Dell HP and Cisco.
Working alongside our team of highly skilled engineers will help you develop your skills and knowledge and potential to move into other areas of the business.
What youll do
For the duration of your programme you will be studying towards an Information Communications Technician Support- Level 3. Throughout your apprenticeship you will dedicate 80% of your time in work and 20% to studying toward your qualification.
We are looking for multiple individuals to join our SWAP team to work alongside our team of engineers within the Hatfield workshops to support our customers IT equipment and services.
You will also be supporting in the following:
Preparing quotations for customers.
Using our internal IT systems for stock control ordering parts and updating customer tickets.
The opportunity to work in different areas of the LTS & FLS business.
What youll need
Youll have a strong interest in IT and a minimum of two GCSEs graded 4-9 (C-A*) including English language and Maths.
Youll be driven with a strong work ethic.
Youll have a willingness to learn with great attention to detail.
Youll be enthusiastic engaging and have good communication skills.
Youll be proactive and good at managing your time.
Please note that for successful applicants offers will be conditional on passing additional eligibility checks with our training provider.
Please note you will not be eligible for this apprenticeship programme if you already hold or are currently working towards a qualification at the same or a higher level in a similar subject i.e. A Level BTEC or Degrees in technical subjects.
