A leading manufacturing company in Melbourne Australia is on the lookout for a skilled Die Setter to join its high-performing production team. Renowned for producing premium cosmetic bottles the company utilises advanced stretch blow moulding and injection moulding technologies. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced innovation-driven environment where quality efficiency and continuous improvement are at the core of everything they do.
Responsibilities:
- Set up adjust and maintain moulds and dies for stretch blow moulding and injection moulding machines.
- Ensure efficient machine changeovers with minimal downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on dies and tooling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mould-related issues to maintain production flow.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to meet daily output targets.
- Maintain adherence to safety protocols and ensure a clean work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Die Setter in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with stretch blow moulding machinery is essential.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and correct tooling issues.
- Understanding of moulds tooling setup and die change procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
