Job Description
The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Syracuse University invites applications for a temporary 40-hour per week position as a clinical supervisor in the Gebbie Clinic. This role may be filled by one full-time SLP or multiple part-time SLPs whose combined hours total 40 hours per week. Responsibilities include on-site supervision and training of graduate students in Speech-Language Pathology during assessment and treatment of clients across the lifespan. The position also involves providing some direct clinical services and participating in clinical faculty meetings. Some limited evening hours are required.

Responsibilities
Supervise SLP graduate students in diagnostic and therapeutic services in the Gebbie Speech-Language Clinic. This includes pre-staff planning meetings reviewing and editing clinical documentation providing direct supervision to graduate students in accordance with ASHA or Medicare supervision requirements provision of feedback and student evaluation. Provide limited direct diagnostic and therapeutic services to clients as assigned. Attend appropriate clinical faculty/staff meetings and work collaboratively in department. Engage in continuing education to stay current on best practices and fulfill and maintain state licensure and national certification.
