Position Overview

Were looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Technical Consulting this role youll lead complex building envelope and architectural projects from investigation through construction closeout. Youll work closely with clients contractors and internal teams to deliver high-quality code-compliant and technically sound solutions that meet project goals and timelines.

What Youll Do

• Manage multiple architectural and exterior wall consulting projects from start to finish.
• Lead and coordinate all technical and administrative project efforts.
• Conduct site inspections (ground roof scaffolding sub-grade) with a regular field presence (25%50%).
• Review and produce technical documents including drawings specifications reports and proposals.
• Ensure compliance with the NYC building code industry standards and internal QA/QC processes.
• Serve as the primary client contact and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Mentor and guide technical staff on project-specific tasks.
• Prepare and present technical reports meeting minutes and construction documents.
• Navigate NYC regulatory processes for project filings and approvals.
• Oversee mockup testing submittal reviews and construction administration.
• Troubleshoot complex project issues and develop effective solutions.
• Occasionally travel outside the local area based on project needs.

What Youll Bring

Required:

• 12 years of experience in architectural consulting project management or exterior envelope systems.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture
• Strong knowledge of NYC building code faade systems and historic preservation standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• OSHA 10-hour safety certification (minimum).
• Actively pursuing or holding a Professional Licensure (RA)
• Ability to obtain/maintain NYC DOB-supported scaffold certifications (4HR/16HR).

Preferred:

• Experience with forensic investigation faade restoration and construction practices in NYC.
• Familiarity with public review processes and regulatory agencies.

Work Environment & Schedule

• This position is based in New York NY and requires regular on-site presence.
• Standard working hours are MondayFriday 9:00 AM 6:00 PM.
• Travel requirements: Occasional based on project needs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $130000 $150000 based on knowledge skills and experience.
