Position Summary:
As a Financial Strategist serving the music and entertainment industry you will act as a key advisor to artists performers and other professionals with non-traditional income streams. This role blends financial coaching strategic planning and client service. You will deliver tailored wealth strategies manage relationships and help creatives make informed financial decisions aligned with their careers.
Focus and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary financial point of contact for clients in the music and entertainment space.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand financial goals lifestyle needs and variable income streams (e.g. tour earnings royalties freelance contracts).
- Educate clients on financial literacy topics including budgeting taxes insurance entity formation and investment basics.
- Collaborate with senior advisors to create and execute personalized financial plans.
- Coordinate execution of investment strategies insurance enrollments and portfolio reviews.
- Guide clients through budgeting cashflow planning and savings strategies for short-term emergency and long-term goals.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and manage onboarding workflows.
- Partner with tax legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Proactively track service milestones and follow up on client needs.
- Contribute to the development of educational materials and client-facing resources.
- Support financial education workshops and industry-focused client engagement events.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Bachelors degree in finance business economics music business or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in financial services financial coaching or wealth management.
- Familiarity with the music and entertainment landscape and its financial dynamics.
- Strong interpersonal and consultative skills with a client-first mindset.
- Series 65 or equivalent licensing preferred or willingness to obtain.

Additional Information:
Compensation: $36000 plus commission
Experience: 13 years of relevant experience
Travel: Occasional travel may be required for client events or presentations.
Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
