Job Description

Our client is a respected and fast-growing third-party logistics provider specializing in customized temperature-controlled supply chain solutions. With a strong reputation for reliability innovation and service excellence they serve a diverse range of clients across industries including food & beverage healthcare and consumer goods. As part of their continued expansion they are looking to hire a driven and results-oriented Freight Sales Representative to help grow their brokerage division and build long-lasting customer relationships.

This role is ideal for a competitive self-starting professional with a solid understanding of freight brokerage and transportation logistics. The Freight Sales Representative will be responsible for both generating new business and nurturing existing accounts.

Success in this position requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced team-driven environment while independently managing a full sales cycle from lead generation to account retention.

Responsibilities:

    • Identifying and targeting potential customers.
    • Developing and maintaining client relationships within the assignment.
    • Understanding client needs and proposing solutions.
    • Preparing sales proposals and pricing quotes.
    • Managing accounts through the sales cycle from initiation to onboarding.
    • Achieving sales objectives through effective strategies.
    • Collaborating with operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
    • Using CRM software for sales management and reporting.
    • Leading or assisting in account reviews.
    • Monitoring competitors.
    • Analyzing market trends.
    • Attending meetings and trade shows.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree is preferred.
    • Experience in transportation sales or related fields.
    • Strong understanding of the LTL industry
    • Proven sales skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Capacity to build relationships.
    • Analytical mindset.
    • Negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    • Familiarity with transportation and customer management systems.
$54000 - $115000 a year
