Position Summary: The Assistant General Manager/Chief Operating Officer will assist the General Manager/Chief Executive Officer with the day-to-day operations of the company ensuring that all network technical accounting finance and customer service functions run efficiently and effectively. This role supports strategic planning operational executive and cross-departmental coordination to meet business goals.
Essential Job Functions
Actively encourages teamwork open communication and cooperative interaction by promoting a positive work environment that reflects the companys vision and values.
Works closely with managers outside contractors or consultants to ensure projects and all work is performed according to specifications.
Monitors project schedules budgets and staff activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget parameters.
Assists the General Manager/CEO with preparations for budgets forecasts and capital planning.
Optimize processes to improve service delivery reliability and customer experience.
Participates in policy development and interprets and administer programs according to policies and procedures.
Directs activities of the Company by overseeing the scheduling and assigning of work determining methods for doing work checking the quality of work answering questions handling personnel issues and monitoring workflow to ensure timely completion of activities.
Assists with long-term strategy for market expansion and technology adoption.
Ensure full compliance with all applicable telecommunications regulations licensing requirements and industry standards.
Provide leadership and oversight for key departmental heads including the Network Manager Sales and Marketing Manager Accounting Manager Operations Manager and Director of Business and Community Affairs.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Masters degree preferred but not required.
Minimum of 5 years of management and/or Human Resources experience.
Minimum of 10 years of experiences in the telecommunications industry or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in team building and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Proven expertise in change management.
