We are currently hiring an experienced Automotive Transmission Technician to join our growing service department.
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and Ford-certified Automotive Transmission Technician to handle complex transmission diagnostics and repairs. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in precision performance and professionalism. As part of our expert service team you will work in a supportive environment with state-of-the-art equipment and a strong focus on quality and safety.
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Pay: Based on experience and certification level
Responsibilities:
Diagnose remove and repair transmission systems on a variety of Ford vehicles
Conduct advanced transmission work including rebuilds overhauls and replacements
Perform transmission services including fluid exchanges and clutch repairs
Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure accurate estimates and timely repairs
Maintain clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
Stay current with manufacturer training and certifications
Document work performed using dealership systems
Qualifications:
Ford Certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Transmission Technician
Prior experience at a Ford dealership preferred
Proficiency in diagnosing automatic and manual transmission issues
Solid understanding of electronic diagnostic tools
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
