JOB TITLE: Shipping and Receiving Assistant
LOCATION: Hanover MD
PAY RATE: Up to $20/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:
-
Perform a mix of manual and clerical warehouse duties.
-
Responsibilities include receiving inspecting and processing inventory in alignment with contract requirements and company standards.

Receive unpack count and inspect inbound materials for accuracy and conformance
-
Log and process materials in the P2P system
-
Prepare materials for shipment including verifying quantity weight and proper identification
-
Handle freight bills packing slips shipping documents and route merchandise appropriately
-
Perform inventory storage and general warehouse tasks
-
Follow proper shipping procedures and transportation schedules
-
Regularly lift and move items up to 50 lbs (team lifts as needed)

May be trained and certified to operate forklifts or other powered industrial vehicles
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
1 2 years minimum in warehouse material movement or inventory control
-
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
-
Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems and logistics tracking
-
Ability to maintain accuracy while adapting quickly in a fast-paced environment
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
