Job Description

Job Title: Travel Ultrasound Technologist
Location: La Crosse WI

Contract Type: 13-Week Travel Assignment
Shift: 8-Hour Days 7:45 AM 4:15 PM Monday Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Department: Imaging/Radiology

Position Overview:

Looking for a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel contract. The ideal candidate will bring 3 years of experience in general and vascular ultrasound imaging and a strong working knowledge of Epic and GE equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound exams including abdomen RUQ thyroid carotid venous renal artery venous reflux aorta and other small parts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR.
  • Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists physicians and fellow technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols in accordance with hospital policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Required Certifications: ARDMS & AHA BLS
  • Minimum 3 Years of experience with abdominal vascular and small parts exams.
  • Epic charting system is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Epic and GE machines desired.
  • Travel Experience is preferred but not required
