Job Description
This role is for an X-Ray Technician working the night shift (3 twelve-hour shifts per week including every Thursday Friday every third Wednesday and every third weekend). The position requires on-call availability for holidays and as needed and includes experience in various X-ray procedures across multiple body areas and settings. A minimum of one year of experience is required but first-time applicants are accepted.
- Utilizing equipment such as the O-ARM and C-arm.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and charting.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Responding to on-call requests as needed.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- BLS certification.
- Active Illinois state license.
- Minimum one year of experience (first-timers accepted).
- Experience in Adult Acute Care Adult Outpatient ER ICU NICU and Operating Room settings.
- Proficiency in various X-ray techniques (Abdomen Chest Head Extremities Spine Mobile/Surgical).
- Experience with O-ARM equipment.
- Level I Trauma experience.
- No clinician floating outside of scope of practice.
- Schedule requests can be discussed with the manager.
- Guaranteed hours with a clause for client call-offs up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment.
- Maximum RTO of 5 days.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- Three 12-hour shifts per week.
- Every Thursday and Friday.
- Every third Wednesday.
- Every third weekend.
- On-call and holiday coverage required.
