Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Oncologist to join our network of top-tier healthcare professionals. This role involves providing exceptional patient-centered cancer care collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining the highest standards of documentation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Diagnose manage and treat oncology patients with individualized evidence-based treatment plans.
Communication: Maintain open and empathetic communication with patients and their families regarding diagnoses treatment options and care plans.
Documentation: Accurately document all patient interactions treatments and outcomes ensuring compliance with coding and billing standards.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with nurses radiologists surgeons and other healthcare professionals in interdisciplinary team meetings.
Quality Improvement: Participate in quality assurance programs evaluate clinical outcomes and support initiatives for continuous improvement.
Compliance: Adhere to all federal state and institutional regulations including HIPAA and ethical medical practices.
Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in oncology and participate in continuing medical education (CME) programs.
Required Qualifications:
American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology or Hematology-Oncology
A valid and unrestricted medical license (or license-eligible) in the relevant state
Proven clinical experience in diagnosing and treating various cancers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong commitment to patient care medical ethics and teamwork
Preferred Qualifications:
Fellowship training in Oncology or Hematology-Oncology
Prior experience in hospital or outpatient oncology settings
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
