Job Description
Job Title: Medical Office Clerk (Family Medicine)
Location: Mike OCallaghan Military Medical Center Nellis AFB NV 89191
Work Schedule: Monday Friday
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED; medical terminology preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an office setting preferably in a medical facilit
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or ARC; computer-based BLS not accepted
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and assist with front-desk operations
- Schedule appointments verify patient eligibility and manage templates
- Maintain retrieve and file medical records in accordance with MTF standards
- Provide administrative support to clinical teams and maintain accurate documentation
- Answer and route calls take messages and interface with internal and external stakeholders
- Use military systems (e.g. MHS GENESIS DEERS PACS) for patient care coordination
