Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Alex Karras Lincoln. The right candidate will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining a variety of vehicles with a focus on delivering precise high-quality work that reflects the Lincoln brand. Youll play a key role in our service department and work alongside a professional team in a modern well-equipped shop. This position will be on sight at Alex Karras Lincoln
Job Type & Schedule
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday - Friday including rotating Saturdays
Pay Structure: Flat-rate Up to $100000 based on qualifications and certificates
Work Requirements:
Work Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday
Ability to Commute: Bradenton FL 34207 (Required)
Ability to Relocate: Bradenton FL 34207 Must relocate prior to starting work (Required)
Work Location: In person
Responsibilities
- Commute to Alex Karras Lincoln
Perform repairs and maintenance as specified on work orders with accuracy and efficiency
Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify vehicle issues
Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine transmission suspension steering electrical brakes and air conditioning
Communicate with service advisors about recommended additional services and provide time estimates
Execute warranty and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Follow dealership and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
2 years of automotive technician experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
ASE Certification a plus
Ford Certification preferred
Prior experience at a Ford or Lincoln dealership is a strong advantage
Experience working with luxury vehicles is preferred
B-level technician skills: diagnostics electrical systems and engine repair
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Steady hand excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
Positive customer-focused attitude and eagerness to learn
Basic computer and diagnostic software skills
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
