Job Description
This is a remote position.
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday 8am-5pm EST with a 1 hour unpaid break

Job Description
We re seeking a skilled and adaptable Bookkeeper to join our client s expanding team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of clients primarily using QuickBooks Online while also diving into specialized restaurant accounting software. As our client embarks on a significant growth phase you ll play a crucial role in supporting their expansion and maintaining high-quality financial services. This position allows you to work remotely as part of an international team collaborating with professionals across different time zones and cultures. Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online
- Master and utilize cutting-edge restaurant-specific accounting software
- Perform accurate and timely bank and credit card reconciliations
- Efficiently process accounts payable and receivable ensuring prompt payments and collections
- Prepare detailed financial statements and reports providing valuable insights to clients
- Collaborate with the team to execute month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and team members
- Adapt to new accounting technologies and methodologies as the company expands its services
- Contribute to the development of best practices and process improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Prior experience with US-based accounting practices required
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines
- Proven track record of working independently and thriving in a team environment
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness to learn new software and adapt to evolving industry standards
- Experience with restaurant accounting is a plus but not required
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred
