Job Description

Overview: The Java Developer plays a crucial role in the design development and maintenance of high-quality software applications within the organization. This position is essential for ensuring that applications are efficient scalable and meet the needs of the users. Java Developers are often responsible for integrating various systems building APIs and creating user-facing features that enhance user interaction. As a Java Developer you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements develop technical specifications and implement robust solutions that align with the companys goals. This role requires innovative thinking effective communication and a strong understanding of Java technologies and frameworks. As we aim to expand our products and improve our service offerings the Java Developers contribution directly impacts the overall success and growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop test and maintain Java-based applications.
  • Design and implement scalable applications using Java frameworks.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers.
  • Analyze requirements and create technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications for optimal functionality.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Implement software development best practices and standards.
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure quality assurance processes.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to project planning.
  • Document development processes and technical specifications.
  • Provide technical support to clients and users as needed.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy applications efficiently.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Java Developer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g. Spring Hibernate).
  • Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database management systems (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL).
  • Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of version control tools (e.g. Git SVN).
  • Experience with unit testing programs and frameworks.
  • Solid grasp of software development principles and design patterns.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in teams.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Ability to learn new technologies as required.
