Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
RecruitNet is looking for a Senior Radiation Therapist for our hospitals in Ireland.
We are currently recruiting a Senior Radiation Therapist to work as an integral part of the radiology team at the hospital.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Ensures that treatment is delivered in a high-quality manner by keeping thorough and accurate treatment records.
- Apply radiation therapy with a treatment plan and written prescription.
- Ensures patient safety by applying Departmental Procedures for therapy administration consistently.
- Measures things to be used in treatment computation.
- Offers assistance in all treatment-related procedures as required.
- Explains treatment-related procedures using interpersonal skills and good communication approaches. properly addresses the concerns of the patient
Requirements
- CORU Registration mandatory.
- Completion of a Bachelor of Science or equivalent Irish/EU/or AMA-approved institution.
- IIR validation/ IIR course recognition
- Must have at least three years of postgraduate radiotherapy experience that is relevant and appropriate.
- Understand the Radiographers Registration Board Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics and abide by it.
