Service Setting: Inpatient Senior Behavioral Health Unit
Coverage Type: Clinical Call
Coverage Period: September 15 2025 September 22 2025
Clinical Shift Schedule: Daily on-site 8a 5p (1hr unpaid lunch; flexible)
On-Call Shift Schedule: Nightly 5p 8a
Call Type: In-House
Call Ratio: 1:1
Call Response Time: Immediate

Patient Volume/Census: Average 8 12 patients daily

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active NY license required
Board: Board Eligible (within 5 years)
DEA: Active DEA Certification
Experience: Experience in geriatric psychiatry preferred
Other Qualifications: Willing to train on Meditech; flexible and personable; team player
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide psychiatric care to geriatric inpatients
Complete daily rounds and patient assessments
Be available for overnight in-house call
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team
Participate in documentation and dictation as required
