Job Description
Al Packer Ford Lincoln in West Palm Beach Florida is seeking a skilled Collision Center/Body Shop Estimator. As an Estimator you play a pivotal role in our Collision Center by accurately assessing vehicle damage preparing repair estimates and providing exceptionalcustomer service through the repair process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the extent of necessary repairs.
- Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using industry-standard software and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with customers insurance adjusters and internal staff regarding repair timelines and cost estimates.
- Collaborate closely with technicians and parts department to ensure timely and efficient repair processes.
- Maintain high standards of quality control and customer satisfaction throughout the repair cycle.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle repair and customer service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Body Shop Estimator or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g. CCC One Mitchell) and understanding of industry repair standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and insurance company representatives.
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
