Job Description:
Astemo is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Finance & Accounting Administrator to join our this role youll be responsible for processing a range of financial transactions using our ERP system supporting core functions such as accounts payable payroll banking and fixed assets. Youll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accuracy and compliance while also contributing to special projects and continuous process improvements.
Process routine financial transactions in the USAM ERP system including accounts payable payroll fixed assets and banking activities.
Post supplier invoices (3-way match or direct) manage vendor payments and reconcile unvouchered receipt accounts.
Use financial tools and systems (e.g. TrinDocs ERS Concur) to support efficient transaction processing.
Assist employees with travel and expense reimbursements whether submitted on paper or electronically.
Communicate with suppliers employees and other stakeholders to clarify and resolve transaction issues.
Investigate discrepancies or concerns and report findings to Finance & Accounting (F&A) management.
Ensure all transactions comply with company policies accounting standards and applicable regulations.
Prepare general ledger account reconciliations and reports (e.g. aging or collection reports) as assigned.
Provide support to F&A projects and broader departmental initiatives.
Deliver high-quality service and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and employee data.
Follow all company safety and environmental policies and ensure a safe working environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in accounting business or a related field preferred.
24 years of relevant finance or accounting experience preferred.
Strong computer skills and experience using ERP and financial software systems.
Excellent communication organization and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work accurately with attention to detail and follow through on tasks independently.
Professional ethical approach to work and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Customer-focused mindset and ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Work Schedule:
Full-time (4060 hours per week) with occasional overtime depending on business needs.
Hybrid work model available combining remote and on-site work.
Work Environment:
Office-based role with some exposure to manufacturing areas.
Tools and resources for remote work required including stable high-speed internet.
Travel:
Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
