SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
This position is responsible for creating accurate templates to fabricate and install glass.

Essential Functions

• Will be responsible for building templates in accordance with job specifications and department procedures
• Will be responsible for loading and unloading template materials and tools for daily scheduled work
• Effectively operate laser template equipment and the handling of file transfer to the system
• Communicate effectively with Order Control sales representative shop personnel and clients relating to specific template requirements and schedule.
• Ensure the proper maintenance of templating equipment and tools on a regular basis
• Maintain a well-organized clean and safe work environment

Competencies/Skills/Abilities

• 5-year minimum industry experience with 2 years as a templater in a glass surface business.
• GED or High school diploma required
• Ability to multi-task and working within specified timeframes
• Ability to work in a fast paced self-directed environment
• Ability to problem-solve a plus
• Previous work experience in the industry a plus
