Job Description:
Key Job Elements
Leads acommodity team in the development and implementation ofrecommendedstrategies andgoals for assigned commodities -in support of business objectives related to quality assurance technology/new product development risk mitigation and total cost.
Conductssupplier analysis and selection processes make/buy outsourcing and transitions. Actsas project manager in various types ofcontinuation/product support projects.
Establishes sourcing strategies by proactively reviewing supplier performance and conductingsupplierand part numberrationalization and segmentation initiatives.
Developsand managesworking relationships with both internal functions and suppliers to manage resolution of supplier issues.
Leadssuppliernegotiationsin support of executing supply agreements and ensuring suppliersconformance to companysterms and monitorsagreements and expectations. Partners closelywithlegal department in working contract language.
Develops implementation and transition plans to ensure sourcing benefits for theassignedcommodities are fully realized.
Analyzescommodity spend datamarket trendsand dynamics toevaluate or identifysourcing initiatives within designated spend categories.
Managesthe supply chain by monitoring reporting and providingrecommendationson issues which could affect quality delivery or pricing.
Presents to management procurement opportunitiesand associated analysisthat are aligned with corporate strategic plans and cost reduction initiatives.
Adherestocorporateand procurementpolicies and procedures.
Maintains a physical presence in the workplace.

Educational Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
3 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area

BS in Engineering Supply Chain Management Business or Organizational Leadership Management

Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD)
Certified Six Sigma Green Belt
