Job Title: Student Worker - Clinical Auxiliary - BC

Job Classification:Education and Training Student

Department: Health Services

Hiring Manager: Michelle Herbelin

Contact:

Work Schedule: Up to 12 hours per week max; Each flu shot clinic is 3-4 hr commitment.

Desired Length of Employment: Fall/Ongoing

Pay Rate: $15.00

Job Description: Under the supervision of BUHS nursing staff student vaccinators administer vaccines at mobile flu shot clinics throughout the Fall semester and assist at the main clinic if necessary. Document administration of vaccines in patients chart. Assist with set-up and take down of room set up.

  • Assist students in a designated academic subject or discipline as needed
  • Foster educational growth and development; identify educational needs and provide assistance as necessary
  • Ensure confidentiality of all pertinent information
  • Provide information and excellent customer service to constituents
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment
  • Ability to comply with University policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
