Job Description
Crain Ford of Jacksonville is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our team. Youll be responsible for the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles including diagnosing faults undertaking practical vehicle repairs and updating service records. An ideal candidate will have automotive experience. Ford certification is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty
- Engage with many different customers each day and represent the dealership
- Organize and prepare for the days appointments
- Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order in a clean and efficient manner
- Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication
- Accurately document vehicle repairs/work performed on the repair order
- Stay informed of Ford technical bulletins and complete required training
- Able to work occasionally in challenging weather conditions
- Able to drive and maintain a company vehicle responsibly
Qualifications:
- Prior Service Technician experience required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
- Ford Certification preferred
- ASE or other OEM Manufacturer Certifications preferred
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Valid driver license
- Strong use of technological devices including tablets
