Job Description

Seldin Company is seeking a Regional Portfolio Manager in San Antonio Texas to oversee 800 affordable apartment units.
The salary for this position will begin at $90000 annually determined by experience certifications skills and education.
*Previous experience with LIHTC and HUD apartments is required.

What You Will Do

The Regional Portfolio Manager manages the assigned portfolio and effectively leads their Community Business Managers team. This role is responsible formaintaining the physical assets integrity and maximizing the returns for the assets in the assigned opportunities to enhance communications and build collaborative relationships with supervisors peers and subordinates. Establish positive productive relationships with all funding community and regulatory agencies. Prepare for and attend regular meetings with the supervisor and/or the owners to present detailed reports on portfolio performance. Seek out public forums to contribute to the industry and build on the companys reputation as the leader in multifamily housing. Train motivate and empower associates to reach their goals and those of the required at approximately 50%. The expectation is to be at the property at least 40% of the schedule.

Skills and Requirements

  • Multi-site property management experience
  • Ability to supervise and lead a team
  • Financial analysis/budget knowledge
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Solid judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and organization skills
  • Budget and financial reporting knowledge
  • Five or more years of property management experience
  • Bachelors degree from a four- year college or university
