- Prepare sign surfaces for painting by cleaning sanding and priming
- Utilize spray guns and other equipment to apply paint finishes and coatings
- Masterfully control spray patterns and achieve desired texture and coverage
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve precise shades and tones
- Ensure accurate replication of design concepts and client specifications through spray painting
- Collaborate with the design team to bring their visions to life using spray painting techniques
- Conduct quality control inspections to address any imperfections or defects in spray-painted signage
- Adhere to safety protocols specific to spray painting and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a spray painter in a sign shop automotive shop or similar environment
- Expertise in painting techniques including controlling spray patterns and achieving desired texture and coverage
- Ability to mix and match paint colors accurately and meet client expectations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work through spray painting
- Knowledge of different types of paints finishes and coatings suitable for spray painting
- Ability to work independently and efficiently meeting project deadlines using spray painting techniques
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks including standing bending and lifting
- Basic computer skills for record keeping and inventory management
