Location: Newburgh NY
Hours: 930 am to 6 pm
Rate of pay: $90000 to $92500
This position oversees the operations of County CCBHC Urgent Care sites within the organization. The role includes leadership in the development and expansion of critical behavioral health services such as:
- Enhancing access to Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Substance Use Disorders
- Developing 24/7 coverage for acute mental health and substance use services
- Building a full complement of Article 36 services to serve Orange County/Ulster County residents
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate and implement staffing coverage across multiple clinical teams
- Provide clinical supervision to licensed and non-licensed staff
- Offer administrative oversight and support operational excellence
- Serve as clinical backup for urgent or complex cases
- Submit regular reports to government agencies and grant funders
- Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Lead daily performance and clinical huddles
- Design and implement management systems to address gaps in service delivery
- Drive the development of programs and staff in a rapidly growing organization.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONAL / ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT:
- Support the Security Officer in investigations incident follow-up and mitigation planning
- Contribute to Quality Assurance (QA) processes including incident reporting and compliance
- Ensure adherence to CARF OMH and other regulatory standards
- Participate in agency-wide initiatives including:
- Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) efforts
- EHR configuration and optimization
- Clinical training and education initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to lead and scale clinical programs
- Proven track record of staff development and mentorship
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in Electronic Health Record (EHR) administration and optimization
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced evolving environment
- Skilled in translating clinical and operational issues into effective solutions
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Preferred: Psy.D. LCSW or LMHC
- Required: Masters degree in a behavioral health-related field with independent licensure
- Minimum of five years of progressive clinical leadership experience preferred
