Western Middle School

Western Middle School is currently seeking aClass IV Least Restrictive Environment Parapro.
Date Posted:
- August 5 2025-Open until filled.
Position Available:
- One (1) full-time Class IV LRE Paraprofessional.
- Approximately 7 hours per day.
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate
- Successful completion of High School Proficiency Tests (all subjects)
- Demonstrate through previous work experience an ability to effectively communicate with adults and children as well as a high degree of organizational skills time management and collaboration.
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Be willing to complete 7-9 hours of professional development throughout the school year
- Highly Qualified as per the Michigan Department of Education Guidelines
- Complete at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (equal to 60 semester hour)*;or
- Obtain an associates degree (or higher);or
- Meet rigorous standard of quality and of quality and demonstrate through the passage of an approved formal state academic assessment ETS Parapro Assessment** - Online
- Passing score of 460 required
