Technicians play a critical role on cross functional teams by supporting the engineering team with data collection and analysis.
What Youll Do
- Autonomously perform technical work to support engineers developing materials for use in Cricuts machine ecosystems.
- Prepare test specimens set up equipment and perform testing or analysis following standard test procedures to assure safe practice and valid results.
- Collect data utilizing various measurement devices such as scales calipers and universal test machines.
- Perform calculations as necessary.
- Prepare reports of test data and results in accordance with specified procedures.
- Maintain files logs and records of past experiments and/or tests for future references.
- Maintain a clean safe working environment ensuring lab equipment is in acceptable order using 5S processes.
- Role is 100% in-person not eligible for hybrid or remote work
Qualifications :
- High School Degree or equivalent
- College or post-high school training preferred
- Ability to understand engineering requirements safety requirements standard operating procedures and maintenance instructions
- Basic math skills (addition subtraction multiplication fractions etc.) are required.
- Basic understanding about statistical terminologies (mean median standard deviation variance etc.) a plus
- Experience with MS Office especially basic functions in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude strongly preferred
- Experience working in Six Sigma environment preferred
