Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive QA Tester to join our development team. This role serves as a critical interface between our Developers and User Acceptance Testers (UAT) ensuring the delivery of high-quality robust applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for both manual and automated testing processes contributing to the maintenance of our high standards for code quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between Developers and UAT Testers ensuring smooth handover and communication.
  • Design develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts (both manual and automated).
  • Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Identify document and track software defects through to resolution.
  • Participate in sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives contributing QA insights and status updates.
  • Validate new features and bug fixes within our C# .NET and Angular applications.
  • Ensure software meets performance scalability and security requirements.
  • Champion best practices for testing including regression performance and smoke testing.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to understand and validate requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

  • An interest in a QA or software testing role / progression.
  • Strong experience testing applications
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium NUnit xUnit Cypress or similar).
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills especially in translating technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage priorities meet deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps)
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools such as DataDog JMeter or LoadRunner.
