About the Role
This is an exciting new position within a newly forming ICT function offering a unique opportunity to help shape the future of DCCEEW using innovation and emerging technologies. With no fixed routine were looking for someone who thrives in dynamic environments is hands-on and ready to contribute wherever needed.
In this role you will be responsible for actively driving innovation and AI governance across the organisation. Youll lead workshops to explore new technologies deliver pilots and proof-of-concepts and collaborate closely with Business Partners Architecture and Planning teams. Your work will involve engaging with a broad networkincluding vendors universities central government and internal stakeholdersto co-design practical forward-thinking solutions.
Youll also play a key role in supporting the NSW AI Assurance Framework (AIAF) guiding and supporting business teams & vendors through adoption of AIAF and contributing to digital governance by helping shape standards policies and long-term innovation strategies. Flexibility is key as youll be involved in key projects that align with emerging tech initiatives.

We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable professional with a strong foundation in technology governance and a passion for emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strategic insight hands-on experience and the ability to engage and educate diverse stakeholders.
