Facilities Technician III HVAC Specialist & Emerging Leader

Now were looking for a skilled Facilities Technician III with HVAC expertise and a desire to step into leadership. Youll go beyond the mechanicalthis is a hands-on role with a clear opportunity toward Facilities Management.
Why This Role Matters - Our facility supports complex healthcare and distribution operations. That means the systems you maintainfrom HVAC to electrical and fire safetykeep medical teams running and patient outcomes this role youll:
- Be the go-to expert for HVAC systemsinstallation repair and diagnostics
- Lead routine and emergency maintenance with precision and urgency.
- Mentor others model safety and take on increasing responsibilities.
- Work closely with Plant Operations leadership to support compliance planning and equipment lifecycle decisions.
What Youll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems electrical distribution plumbing and fire/life safety infrastructure.
- Respond to service calls and rotate as the On-Call Technician.
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance across critical systems.
- Document all work in our MPulse system and uphold safety protocols.
- Collaborate with leadership and participate in shutdown planning and service coordination.
- Provide informal team guidance and take on formal leadership opportunities as you grow.
Qualifications
What Were Looking For
- HVAC certification with 5 years of HVAC and facilities maintenance experience preferably in commercial warehouse or healthcare environments.
- HAZWOPER 40-hour certification (or commitment to obtain).
- Proven ability to interpret schematics equipment specs and building diagrams.
- A proactive mindset strong communication skills and a genuine interest in leadership development.
- Valid Florida drivers license.
- Experience training or supervising others is a plus.
