Sales Representative - Worcester
Our client a well-established leader in the steel and steel-related products industry is looking for a dynamic and target-driven Sales Representative to join their Worcester branch. This role is ideal for someone with strong sales skills industry experience and a passion for building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:- Generate leads and establish contact with potential customers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Promote products and services through client visits and cold calling
- Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends
- Assist customers with queries related to pricing availability and product specs
- Open and maintain sustainable new accounts
- Achieve monthly sales and profit targets
- Prepare and submit accurate weekly/monthly reports and call logs
- Collaborate closely with internal and counter sales staff
- Conduct quotes check stock and process orders using Syspro
- Participate in stock takes and assist with customer account queries
Requirements:
- 35 years experience in steel and steel-related product sales
- Retail environment background required
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative is a strong advantage
- Experience using Syspro is essential
- Target and KPI-driven with a strong focus on customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced results-oriented environment
- Valid drivers license
