The Customer Relations Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing commercial activities within TBTC and its subsidiaries. The specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of customer relations from initial contact to handling service changes and billing inquiries. This role involves ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining accurate records and supporting the resolution of routine customer issues.
- Customer Inquiries: Respond to public inquiries regarding service selection availability and billing questions including local service and toll charges.
- Support and Assistance: Assist in resolving routine customer requests questions problems and service orders.
- Advisory Role: Analyze customer information to advise on the selection and utilization of services.
- Complaint Resolution: Address customer complaints effectively to balance customer needs with company interests.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete applications contract forms determine service charges collect deposits prepare change of address records and issue service orders.
- Accuracy and Efficiency: Ensure the accuracy of customer information for service and directory needs.
- Proactive Customer Service: Act proactively to meet customer needs in a timely efficient and friendly manner.
- Project Assistance: Assist with special customer service projects as time allows.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of telecommunications technology products and services.
- Communication Skills: Ability to speak effectively persuasively and clearly with customers and co-workers.
- Documentation Skills**: Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Report Writing: Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.
- Mathematical Skills: Competent in calculating figures such as discounts interest commissions proportions and percentages.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledgeable in Internet access order processing systems spreadsheet software and word processing software.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Skilled in solving practical problems and interpreting varied instructions.
- Subscriber Issue Resolution: Experienced in identifying and resolving subscriber issues.
