We are currently seeking a Senior Contract Administrator tojoin the Calgary Team.
Job Summary
The Senior ContractAdministrator leads construction administration on multiple projects ensuringproject delivery success through strategic oversight issue resolution andteam mentorship. This senior role is accountable for high-quality execution clientsatisfaction and mentoring of junior staff while maintaining alignment withZeidlers technical and delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design Documentation
- Lead the preparation management and review of construction documentation.
- Coordinate project tendering and technical compliance reviews.
- Provide input during code and design reviews to ensure delivery excellence.
Project Support Coordination
- Oversee multiple projects guiding internal teams and engaging with contractors.
- Conduct site reviews resolve field issues and ensure delivery milestones are met.
- Represent Zeidler in meetings with clients consultants authorities and industry events.
- Mentor junior contract admin staff assisting with process improvements and technical issues.
- Ensure all work aligns with the firms Project Delivery standards including proper use of filing systems adherence to architectural procedures and compliance with drawing and documentation protocols.
Team Culture
- Foster a collaborative environment and contribute to a high-performance project culture.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards.
- Champion Zeidlers industry reputation through engagement leadership and professionalism.
- This position requires 100% in-office and/or site presence to support in-person collaboration real-time mentorship and effective cross-functional alignment across teams and disciplines.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Architecture Architectural Technology or equivalent construction experience.
- 10 years of experience in construction administration or site-based project management.
- Proficient in codes specifications and CA forms; Revit and AutoCAD considered an asset.
- Strong client relationship skills leadership and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of green building standards and a valid Class 5 drivers license required.
- Ability to travel across provinces as needed for project oversight.
