Youth for Christ is seeking a creative and mission-drivenPart-time Social Media Coordinatorto help us share life-changing stories and expand our impact online.
About Central Ohio Youth for Christ:
Youth for Christ is a movement dedicated to reaching young people everywhere with the hope of Jesus. We partner with local churches and like-minded organizations to raise up lifelong followers of Christmarked by godly living biblical devotion prayer passion for sharing the Gospel and a heart for community impact.
Position Purpose
To advance the mission of Central Ohio Youth for Christ (COYFC) by leading and growing our social media presencedeveloping engaging mission-aligned content that connects with both our current audience and the next generation of youth and supporters.
Key Responsibilities
- Srategically manage and organically grow COYFCs presence across Facebook Instagram LinkedIn and other platforms
- Develop and execute compelling content (images videos stories reels etc.) that reflects the heart of our mission
- Promote and support COYFCs podcast content increasing engagement and listenership
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to collect stories and create content
- Engage with audiences by responding to comments direct messages and interactions in a timely and mission-aligned manner
What Were Looking For
- A strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices
- Creative skills in content creation (graphic design photography video editing etc.)
- Experience with tools like Canva Adobe Suite Later Hootsuite or similar platforms
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Passion for youth ministry and the mission of Youth for Christ
- Self-motivated organized and reliable
- Prior experience in a nonprofit or ministry setting is a plus.
