Requirements
Certification: Must hold a valid ASE certification or equivalent automotive repair certification.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician specializing in both domestic and foreign vehicles.
Skills: Strong diagnostic abilities to identify issues efficiently and implement effective solutions.
Knowledge: Familiarity with the latest automotive technologies tools and repair methods.
Physical Demands: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment involving lifting heavy parts and tools as required.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure high quality control and safety standards in all service tasks.
Team Collaboration: Strong ability to work as part of a team maintaining a positive and cooperative work environment.
Communication: Clear communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members providing updates and discussing service options.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing automotive technologies.
Responsibilities
Vehicle Diagnostics: Accurately diagnose issues with various vehicle systems including the engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes and other components.
Repairs: Efficiently repair and replace faulty components ensuring high-quality work that meets manufacturers specifications.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes filter replacements fluid checks and tire rotations.
Inspections: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential mechanical problems and recommend preventative maintenance measures.
Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed records of all diagnostic repair and maintenance services conducted on vehicles.
Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnostic results repair processes and necessary maintenance ensuring a clear understanding of services provided.
