Monarch Academy (part of Monarch House) is a specialized private school for children with autism and developmental differences. Our classrooms are small nurturing and highly individualized. With embedded clinical support and a strong emphasis on student well-being we create safe and empowering spaces for children to learn grow and belong.

Monarch Academy is growing! We are currently hiring for two full-time teaching positions:
Position title -Elementary Teacher
Salary - $50000 - 65000/year
Location -Monarch Academy Oakville Campus
- 1405 North Service Road East Unit 103
Start Date - Mid-August 2025
What Youll Do
As a Monarch Academy teacher youll be a key member of an interdisciplinary team working to support each childs academic social and emotional development.
Responsibilities include
- Planning and delivering individualized developmentally appropriate lessons following the Ontario curriculum
- Collaborating closely with Behaviour Therapists and receiving consultation from Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists
- Supporting self-regulation and communication skills in the classroom
- Contributing to student support plans and goal tracking
- Building strong trusting relationships with families
What Were Looking For
- Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) in good standing
- A passion for inclusive education and supporting neurodiverse learners
- Experience or interest in special education autism or behavioural needs
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Established in 2009 in British Columbia as an interdisciplinary treatment centre for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families Monarch House has now expanded its geographic network and services to include the full range of services for individuals with academic behaviour communication learning motor physical speech social and vocational needs.
